PS VITA MORTAL KOMBAT 9 REVIEW: FINISH HIM!!! Last year Mortal Kombat made its triumphant return with its 9th release in the franchise and was able to win Fighting game of the year. This year the award wining fighting game made its way to the ps vita jam packed with all the dlc’s and exclusive content. One tournament, 32 fighters, the fate of earth realm let the kombat begin! All the characters from the system release are back plus all four dlc characters (skarlet, kenshi, rain, and freddy krueger) and kratos the ps exclusive. It also comes with 16 new alternate outfits and various mini games that use the ps vita features such as the touch screen, tilt and shake. One new feature you can use any time is touch screen fatalities which are awesome and simple to use just swipe the directions of the fatality and enjoy.  A big part of mk9’s success was its challenge tower well its back and to make things even better theres now a bonus challenge tower exclusive to the vita. In the bonus challenge tower youll use the ps vita features in challenges like test your balance and test your slice, some of these challenges can get really annoying and will test your skill but feel so rewarding when you completing them. The story and krypt make a return as well and nothing has changed its exactly the same as the system version. Mortal kombat on the ps vita is awesome, sure the graphics are maybe a 8 out of 10 but you need to know that they had to lower the graphic quality in order to keep the speed and x rays in the game. Over all i give this game a 9 out of ten it was fun on the ps3 and its even better on the go. So get together and help raiden save earth realm but remember to stay 8bit. - 8BITKIDD Zoom

NINTENDO 3DS SUPER MARIO 3D LAND REVIEW: The princess has been captured who will save her now? Its a me a mario!!! Yes questers mario is back and has returned to his old platformer ways with a new school twist all in stunning hd 3d. Bowser has taken the princess once again and mario is on a mission to recover his one and only true love but he cant do it alone with the help of you and his trusty toads mario travels multiple worlds to save princess peach. Nintendo promised that Super Mario 3D land would show off their nintendo 3DS true 3D capability and trust me they delivered. Ive hated playing some 3DS titles simply cause the 3D is either to harsh on the eyes or nothing at all pops out at you but this Mario title completely uses every aspect of the 3D in can. You can play it in 2D but in my opinion its really weak and makes some levels harder to play so turning the 3D up on this game is a must in order to get the full experience. With the 3D on youll see mario jump up towards you or have multiple clouds fly past you while you fight your way through levels filled with familiar enemies. Theres 8 worlds in total with multiple levels in each, some of you hardcore mario fans will find the first few worlds fairly easy but that doesnt mean later worlds will be the same, some of the later levels proved to be a challenge even to some of us veteran players. Even though this is a new mario game it was awesome seeing some old mario elements weve grown to love brought back such as sinking in green plumbing tunnels, sliding down flag poles and even bouncing off music pads to reach hidden levels in the sky. All our favorite enemies are back as well from Goombas with tanooki tales to the classic piranha plants. You can also suit up mario with either the tanooki suit or the boomerang suite making some levels much easier if you can keep the powers meaning one touch from an enemy and your powers are gone. The classic fire suit also makes a return in some levels and is very fun to use. Super mario land 3D looks great the graphics look exactly like that of super mario galaxy 2 so theres no complaints there and the music makes each level unique. This is truly the best game on the 3ds and gets a 10/10 from me, with that said please go pick up this title and enjoy! -8BITKIDD

We do this in recognition that Pokemon Black/White 2 Has officialy been announced and Japan has exclusive looks at it already. Still no 3D made Pokemon yet but its not like it wont happen. PS VITA NINJA GAIDEN: SIGMA PLUS Hey guys and gals, Ready for some Ninja Reviews… But I must warn you, I am not responsible for Flying Shurikens, Ninpo Magic and a Man with a Purpose and Blade killing off Spawns of Villains. Yes we talk about Ninja Gaiden: Sigma Plus for PS Vita. This game surely captures that ninja feel to style gameplay, if you are a fan of Ninja Gaiden then you know how much of a Boss Ryu Hyabusa is. For those of you new to the series, we welcome you to a gory and action packed addiction. The graphics behind this game are actually satisfying, they have a few minor defects like Blood Spills and Far Away Surroundings that look a bit pixilated but the way the Vita handled the Magic and Gore from its bigger System Graphics was really good. That being said this game has 3 settings to playing being through its history, its always been a pretty challenging game to beat. We have Hero Mode in where before death you get unlimited uses of Ninpo and Attacks are Automatically Dodged. Nornal Mode in where the games just its regular self but easier to die, then you have Ninja Mode (Hard Mode) where if you do NOT play strategically and handle your potions right, you will not survive. Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus starts off where our hero, Ryu Hyabusa is in his own village visiting his uncle Murai when it is suddenly attacked by the Vigor Empire and your Dark Dragon Blade is stolen by the Ninja Doku. Ryu then sets off into different places of all kinds of atmospheres like towns, caves, planes and even lava chambers. Your allowed to play a Fiend Hunter named Rachel, who assists Ryu and is seeking to kill her own sister Alma, who was turned into a Greater Fiend. Ryu is also helped by side characters such as Ayane, a mystic ninja that guides you and the legendary bladesmith Muramasa. Ryu is given different sorts of weapons that can be upgraded through using Yellow Souls and also can upgrade his and Rachel’s Ninpo Magic through Spirit Orbs you must find. This game has a little challenge in it by having to collect Golden Scarabs, in which they are spread through all 16 Chapters and its your mission to find all 50 to get Weapons and Items to help out. I personally can give this game a 8/10 as well as IGN did because it was a Great capture from its PS3 Version. I beat it personally and feel so accomplished doing it in Hard Mode, although at time i did rage and just quit to play Mario to chill out, well with that said, game long and hard my friends and be sure to stay 8-Bit. -King Luee

Its a simple game with no storyline only leader boards where you can compete with your friends and others around the world, only down fall to this game is that you can only play 5 times in a row and then wait a certain amount of time before you can play again. I know bummer but its still worth the download I give this game an 8 out of 10.

Paint park is a digital art pad you can sketch on when you need a break from gaming. You can choose from a few colors and art supplies to pick from and just draw your heart out, what makes this app cooler is that You can also take a picture of something and draw all over it. Friday the 13th Tattoo party

What it do readers? As you all know Friday the 13th just passed and myself and the rest of the 8bit crew, along with Juicy L and DJ Will hit up the Beneath the Surface tattoo party. Oh yea! Nothing like getting inked up with the fam.



So the tattoo party was cracking. The place was packed. Drinks were flowing. There were some cute females getting tatted. The music was good. And the price was oh so right. Overall a good time was had by all. We hope to see you all at the next tattoo party.

This movie looks hilarious ill post a link at the bottom. Also on my Facebook page I’ve been busting everyone’s balls on there on how much i want to see this movie called “The Raid” and i must say i have been reading great things about this movie and cannot wait for this movie to get a national release. Ill post a link for this movie as well. For those who didn’t know, Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels have both officially signed on to do Dumb and Dumber 2. Can you give me a hell ya!!
